Since p2h, model citizen Yvelines, focuses on the noisy hammering and failing to excel in the Dancehall, developing a concept completely glucose « liberation through violence » in which any form of submission, stress and blood would be drained by a passive violence.

Originally a fan of grind-core, dub and psychedelic rock’n roll from the 60′s, he got a huge hit in the face when listening to Goldie, Aphex Twin and Atari Teenage Riot.
Then he went to his first rave-parties around 1999, and with those came the interest towards deejaying. Starting with playing drum&bass, then moving towards breakcore (corresponding to his manners of a boor from Franche Comté) he now tries to transcend styles and propose a more personnal music. (He did read Wire Magazine too much.)
Later he would like to become an astronaut, or maybe a fireman.
To find him, look for a pile of empty beer bottles, he might be underneath it, sleeping in the bath of his own vomit.

2methyl (aka 2methylBulbe1ol) is an up and coming 26 year old audio heavyweight from the East of France.
At first a fan of Post-Hardcore, Grindcore and Noise Rock, his discovery of Venetian Snares and Xanopticon opened new boundaries for him to explore, resulting in his own distinctive, crushing sound.
He uses music as a form of narrative, leading dance floors through intriguing cyberpunk, industrial soundscapes.
2methyl’s releases to date include 2 EP’s on Rotator’s Ruff Recordings imprint, and another one on Komodo Dragon Records.
He shared stage with Eight Frozen Module, Niveau Zero, Sinister Souls, Counterstrike, Reso, Dope D.O.D, Luke Viber, Shitmat…

Avec son nouvel EP sur OverClockHeadz Rec., 2methylBulbe1ol approfondit son approche du dubstep, faite de lourdeur métallurgique, de la sourde mélancolie des pianos mécaniques, et du vrombissement des infrabasses évoquant les sonorités ultra-technologiques de la neurofunk.
3 visions dystopiques d’un hyper-espace hanté de fantasmes de civilisation, 3 requiems pour le genre humain chantés par des automates orphelins.
Pour compléter l’ensemble, une version épurée de Golem par l’allemand Hecq (Hymen, Ad Noiseam), un mastering signé Angelos Liaros (Mobthrow), le tout dans une splendide pochette du vieux complice Okiko.
With his new EP on OverClockHeadz Rec., 2methylBulbe1ol dives deeper into his approach of dubstep, a blend of metallic heaviness, mechanic pianos’ dull melancholia and the humming of sub-bass reminiscing the hyper technological sounds of neuro-funk.
3 dystopian visions of an hyperspace haunted by fantasies of civilization, 3 requiems for mankind sung by orphan automatons.
To complete the whole, a stripped-out version of Golem by Hecq, a mastering by Angelos Liaros (Mobthrow), splendidly-sleeved by the old accomplice Okiko.

Founder member of the label OverClockHeadz, Dj hardcore / speedcore in some Breton evenings, before dedicating itself completely to the directed composition noise / industrialist with the project KARSCK (now ended), G.N.S. creates Mechakucha with D-Phaz, duet speedcore / breakcore arisen from Weltanschauung nihilistic and waterproof(impervious) to any outside opinion.
At the beginning of 2009, G.N.S. creates R-ictus, a heap of accumulated intellectual and physical tensions, an answer impulsionnelle auditive violent in retort to a company(society) which is only devolvement of the freedom and the massive training of the human being.
R-ictus does not admit a label: it means nothing more. Power Pop Industrial Break IDM Noisy, but can be a bit smooth for black metal.

D-phaz firstly express in a sound catharsis called « mental agression » Created in 2001, this project was conceived as a reaction against the surrounding ideological mediocrity. This razor-sharp beats was produced in order to rip up that f’ing soft consensus governing the post-industrial society. Two others projects rise « letal ataraxia » more introspective but likewise experimental and a duo with G.N.S on a projet more radical in dancefloors clearing: « Mechakucha »
Fonder menber of the collective / label audiotrauma, a new structure called OVERCLOCKHEADZ is coming in 2K9 with the aim to shift paradigms between electronic music and digital art.

Je me souviens encore de ce dimanche après-midi quand tout a changé… C’était chez papi et mami, la tarte sortait du four pendant que je jouissais du bouquet de chaînes qu’offrait le Câble dans la chambre à coucher. La famille était réunie autour de la table et les discussions allaient bon train. Tout allait pour le mieux. Je zappais sur la télécommande dans le but de me soustraire à cet ennui pesant et c’est alors que ma vie a basculé, je devais avoir 13 ans à l’époque… » Depuis p2h, citoyen modèle des Yvelines, se concentre sur le martellement et le bruitiste à défaut d’exceller dans le Ragga Dancehall, élaborant un concept complètement glucose de « la libération par la violence » dans lequel toute forme de soumission, de stress et de tension se verrait drainée par une violence passive.

Puis viennent les premières raves vers 1999, et avec elles l’envie de mixer.Après des débuts drum’n bass, puis une évolution vers le break-core correspondant à son tempérament bourru de rustre franc-comtois, il cherche maintenant à transcender les styles pour proposer une musique plus personnelle. En effet, il a trop lu les inrockuptibles. Plus tard, il voudrait être pompier, ou peut être astronaute.

Pour le trouver, localisez un amas de cadavres de bières, il sera certainement en-dessous, endormi dans le bain de ses propres déjections biliaires.
